•Build, implement, and manage products/solutions for Rackspace Hosted and Remotely Managed Citrix environments.
•Manage L3 escalations for all Citrix related products.
•Provide recommendations for architecture design and strategic initiatives that require application virtualization and/or virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI)
•Responsible for identifying and solving technical issues related to the Citrix solution, which, in addition to Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops can include OS level troubleshooting, webserver, database server, applications server, DNS, or other software issues.
•Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis of production support related issues.
•Highly proficient with XenApp and XenDesktop 7.15 LTSR and previous versions
•Design and architecture expertise in XenApp o XenDesktop o Citrix Storefront o Citrix Desktop Delivery Controller o Citrix Provisioning Services o Citrix UPM o Citrix Director
•Windows 10 expertise and WVD user support exposure/experience coupled with Expertise on Microsoft Windows platforms, Active Directory, DNS and GPO , FSlogix , Gold image mgmt (app publishing/patching)
• Azure Monitor (OMS/log analytics)
•Strong knowledge of Citrix ADC/Netscaler Secure Gateway.
•Work with product management to design/deploy complex custom Citrix applications, XenApp and XenDesktop.
•Coordinate with other Operations/App. Services team members regarding deployment and ongoing maintenance of new systems and solutions.
•Perform various administrative duties and maintenance functions as required.
•Have a good background and work on technologies other than Citrix like Windows Server (2012 through 2019), Microsoft Exchange and O365. (knowledge on Skype for Business, Hyper V and other related technologies will be a plus)
