Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the B2B Billing (ETA) team and help us take care of expanding our in-house software development capabilities, where you’ll be responsible for the development of B2B Billing (ETA) business application. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Collaborating closely with fellow developers, architects, and analysts to design and develop innovative solutions for core business application within an Agile team environment;
- Developing high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Defining and meeting specific performance metrics such as response time and system uptime;
- Providing actionable feedback to product management regarding user stories, acceptance criteria, and story point estimation, contributing to the refinement and prioritization of product features;
- Working on continuous improvement by proactively investigating alternative technologies, methodologies, and approaches. Actively participating in Agile ceremonies and retrospectives to identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions;
- Pursuing ongoing professional development by actively learning and adopting new tools, technologies, and best practices relevant to Java development. Sharing acquired knowledge with the team to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in developing web applications using Java 11+ with a basic understanding of front-end development. Experience with the Ext GWT framework is a plus;
- 2+ years of experience working with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or similar) and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate);
- Ability to develop database stored procedures, design schemas, optimize queries, and implement effective data storage strategies (tables, indexes, partitions, etc.);
- 1+ year of experience developing web services (REST API, SOAP, or XML) and system integrations;
- Proficiency with development tools such as IntelliJ IDEA or similar, and build tools like Ant, Gradle, or Maven. Experience with GitLab or Git for CI/CD automation;
- Familiarity with static code analysis tools to maintain clean code and basic testing skills (automated or manual);
- Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn, refactor, optimize, and troubleshoot code. Agile experience is a plus;
- Good collaboration and communication skills, experience with code reviews, task estimation, and clear status reporting.
