Job Overview
At OneDigital, this position is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of IT technology projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The position collaborates with other IT departments on functional, technical capabilities, and solutions to ensure business needs are met and are in alignment within the overall IT strategy. This position will support the IT Infrastructure and Business Solutions teams and report into the IT Strategy & Governance team. The IT Technical PM should be a confident employee and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This individual will also be accountable for coordination of IT project technical requirements, determining impact assessments and overseeing a project from planning to implementation.
Principal Accountabilities

Partner with IT Leadership, IT Infrastructure and Business Solutions teams to identify project deliverables, develop project scope, and manage resources and activities to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget while delighting our customers.

Act as a conduit between IT and business stakeholders.

Manage multiple projects, with interdependencies in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and a desire to 'Get Stuff Done'.

Build strong relationships with business and technology leaders, understanding business opportunities and challenges, and addressing process or system impacts when implementing solutions to achieve business objectives.

Partner closely with IT teams to understand their plans and initiatives, defining projects versus normal support work (BAU/KTLO) and developing project scope and plans.

Provide ongoing status updates on project progress, risks, change management, and issue resolution, leading issue identification, tracking, escalation, and resolution documentation, and monitoring risk events before they become issues.

Coordinate purchasing activities and provide assistance for infrastructure and application-related projects.

Produce detailed timelines for each project, implement effective project controls by monitoring progress and reporting status, identify project risks, set timelines to meet customer expectations.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans in Smartsheets that align with organizational capacity and goals, and effectively communicate these plans with all team members and leadership.

Ensure consistent communication with clients and internal leadership, aligning with policies, change control, procedures, SLAs, metrics reporting, and contractual agreements.

Facilitate effective communication and influence between Business Owners, Project Managers (PMs), and Operations Teams to support delivery, risk mitigation, change management, and issue resolution.

Ensure project supportability through regular life-cycle communications with the operational team responsible for running the implemented systems and processes.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of current technology concepts and successfully deliver technical projects, migrations, and application implementations in a fast-paced, high-availability, ITIL environment.

Develop a structured approach to complete projects within the allotted time.

Resolve project issues using established departmental methodologies.

Present team recommendations to Senior Management, influence governance bodies, and communicate effectively through formal presentations.

Support Agile Kanban boards using Azure DevOps (ADO) to streamline project management processes and ensure SOC 2 compliance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain infrastructure solutions that support SOC 2 compliance, leveraging Agile methodologies and best practices.

Drive continuous improvement of PMO templates, including project plans and weekly status updates, to enhance efficiency and clarity.

Deliver consistent and comprehensive weekly status reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience

PMP Certification required
-
4-6 years of experience in managing IT technology projects and large-scale projects
-
Working knowledge of some: SOC2, Microsoft platform, Windows servers and clients, Windows OS Upgrades, Data networking, Security
-
Experience delivering iterative solutions using both Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies.

Proven, successful experience in managing multiple, concurrent, technical projects.

Understanding of the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework

Financial acumen and with experience in defining/managing IT project budgets.
-
Demonstrated planning skills and a proven ability to lead teams in a multi-project environment.
-
Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (including Visio and Powerpoint)

Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.

Excellent interpersonal communications skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organization levels.
-
Experience at working both independently and in a cross functional team-oriented environment is essential.

Ability to quickly learn and use new complex technical concepts and resolve issues with them in a rapidly changing environment.

Ability to discuss complex technical concepts to the technical staff, stakeholders, and business executives in a simple straightforward manner.

Communicates technical issues, impact, and risk mitigation strategies in business terminology that can be communicated to and understood by non-technical.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
