Department OverviewThe Primary Data Department, part of the Data & Analytics team, manages and maintains the organization's critical data assets. This department ensures that data is accurate, consistent, and up-to-date across the organization. The Primary Data team is crucial in data governance, quality management, and standardization. The department's close collaboration with various business units allows it to understand their data needs and to establish and enforce data management best practices. The Primary Data group may also be involved in data modeling, integration, and security efforts to support the organization's overall data strategy.
Job Description
This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our organization's Primary Data Management systems. It ensures data quality, consistency, and compliance by defining and enforcing data governance policies across the enterprise, including data modeling, data integration, data quality standards, and user access controls. The role involves collaborating with the IT product owner, who liaises with our business partners to identify and address data needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Designing and implementing Oracle MDM architecture to manage master data across the enterprise

Defining data quality rules and processes to ensure data accuracy

Integrating data from disparate systems into the MDM repository
-
Developing data cleansing and standardization procedures
-
Managing data governance processes to ensure data consistency and compliance
-
Providing technical support and guidance to MDM users
-
Effectively communicating MDM practices and processes to technical and non-technical audiences
-
Translate business requirements into technical designs for managing master data within an Oracle environment
-
Manage multiple programs simultaneously while maintaining ongoing operations.
Basic Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in relevant Computer Science or Information Systems and Technologies
-
5+ years of experience as an IT professional
-
Knowledge of Oracle database technologies and Oracle Customer Data Management Suite, such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), EDQ, or other related Master Data Management platforms, such as Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) or SAP Data Services.

Experience with data warehousing and data lake concepts
-
Familiarity with other data management tools and technologies

Knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and integration.

Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address data quality issues and system challenges

Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions for Data Management
-
Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize master data needs
-
Expertise in designing and implementing data models for Data Management systems

Proficiency in data integration techniques and tools to consolidate data from various sources
-
Experience and skills in intermediate-level Python and/or JavaScript.

Familiarity with data quality management practices
Preferred Requirements:

Proven track record in designing and implementing MDM solutions using Oracle MDM

Ability to lead and mentor team members on MDM projects

Development experience with Oracle Cloud and EBS technologies

Knowledge of industry best practices for MDM implementation
