Position Summary
The IT System Administrator will work as part of the company’s Infrastructure and Operations team responsible for managing all aspects of the company’s IT infrastructure equipment, Microsoft Azure cloud environment, and related systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administer physical and virtual servers, switches, firewalls, and other infrastructure equipment, as well as a variety of systems and software utilized within the business.

Responsible for Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory Environments.

Manage Microsoft Intune configurations, policies and application deployments.

Proactively monitor server performance and availability and timely address issues.

Monitor and address infrastructure support tickets in a timely manner.

Act as a level 2-3 help desk escalation support when needed.

Provide tactical support to the Infrastructure and Operations team to ensure optimal running of all IT infrastructure, networks, Internet, and security systems.

Maintain system efficiency and make recommendations for future upgrades.

Create and maintain system documentation and SOPs.

Provide expertise to support business needs and initiatives.
Education & Experience:
-
Minimum of technical degree in computer sciences or related field from vocational school required.

A minimum of 4 years of experience in support experience including, but not limited to installing, upgrading, troubleshooting and repairing servers in a network environment and must have experience in managing data center equipment and cloud technologies.
Knowledge, Skills, & Talents
-
Extensive hands-on knowledge/experience with Microsoft technologies including but not limited to: Windows Client and Server Operating Systems, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Hyper-V, Azure, Intune.

Experience with PowerShell scripting.

Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) a plus.

Experience with Hybrid Cloud/On-Premise environments.

Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions and concepts.

Knowledge of networking concepts including routing and multi-location LAN/WAN environments.

Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

Excellent organizational, time management skills and the ability to multitask in a high demand environment.
