RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop corporate standards for Microsoft Windows server operation in context of OS installation, administration, configuration, system security, application deployment using corresponding orchestration platforms & automation tools and on premise and in cloud environments
- Design change models, integrate workflows and automated procedures into a managed Microsoft Windows server environment for enhancement of operational stability, security and performance
- Lead and support projects, RfPs and PoCs including technical guidance for tools and methods in the scope of Microsoft Windows server operation and its system security
- Support problem management with root cause analysis and implementation of adequate solution measures
- Interact as delivery manager and consultant with stakeholders and partners in context of Windows server platform operations and its corelated technologies, processes and components
- Manage and coordinate vendors and contractors in the scope provider management activity
- Study Windows OS developments on the market and identify opportunities for continual service improvement
- Build test environments, provide feasibility studies in terms of functionality, practicality and performance of Windows server standards and its underlaying tools &features
- Conduct end-to-end Windows server live cycle and release management based on established standards and processes
- Provide IMACD support in regular Microsoft Windows server operations (3rd level, problem management, root cause analysis, Escalation engineer duty)
- Prepare and update documentation on systems, procedures, and processes.
- Contribute in regular OnCall duty task
- Be part of an international team “Server Team” and participate both in local and global tasks within this group
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) or comparable qualifications
- Valid MCSA Windows Server certification (2016, 2019, 2022,2025)
- Microsoft Azure qualification
- Long-term professional experience with Microsoft Windows server orchestration in terms of OS deployment and customization (automation, GPOs handling, access management, scripting)
- In-depth experience with OS security solutions related to patch management (SCCM, WSUS), vulnerability management (Tenable) and end point protection solutions (Trellix, Defender)
- Expert level skills related to System Center Configuration Manager
- Profound administration expertise in scope of Microsoft Windows server administration
- Strong analytical skills to analyze system logs and relate them to appropriate controls and measures for stable and secure Microsoft Windows servers operation
- ITIL foundation knowledge
- Project management experience (lead/contributor)
- Provider management experience
- Profound communication and analytical skills
- Knowledge about OT infrastructure is a plus
- Willing to travel occasionally on national or international business trips
- Flexible working hours
