About the Role
We are looking for a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth IT operations, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing excellent customer support. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to IT support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot IT problems, ensuring timely resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and IT security protocols.
- Ensure network connectivity and performance across all systems.
- Support server maintenance and system administration tasks.
- Collaborate with teams to support IT infrastructure and operational needs.
- Document IT support processes, issues, and resolutions for future reference.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and IT best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, troubleshooting, and system maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Proficiency in networking, including LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and routers.
- Experience in development operations (DevOps) and server management is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with cloud platforms, virtualization, and backup solutions.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and IT compliance standards.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
