Who we’re looking for
At Fieldwire, we’re looking for an IT Specialist II to join the internal IT team of 2 specialists supporting users across all organizations. As our IT Specialist, you’ll be the backbone of our internal IT operations, ensuring our team has the tools and support they need to do their best work. From onboarding new employees with a seamless setup to optimizing security practices, you’ll be an essential part of our growing team.
This is a hybrid role and will require 2-3 days a week presence in the San Francisco office.
What you’ll be doing
We are a small team supporting a fast-moving organization. The adage is to work smarter and not harder. Thus, the ideal candidate is motivated to look beyond the boundaries of their day-to-day tasks, can point out inefficiencies and help streamline, scale, and automate manual processes as much as possible. As our company grows and expands, so will this position. The ceiling is where you decide it is.
The primary responsibilities for our next IT Specialist will be to:
- Support employees company wide with day-to-day IT issues.
- Manage device procurement, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Administer and track company wide software.
- Develop an internal IT knowledge base in Zendesk Support.
- Lend support cross-functionally for All-Hands, virtual events, and office infrastructure.
At Fieldwire, we’re looking for our next IT Specialist to have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree or relative experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in IT.
- Competent with Apple Devices.
- Phenomenal organizational and communication skills (Both verbal and written).
- Patience and desire to help and solve problems.
- Not afraid of the unknown and capable of learning new things quickly.
- Will speak up when help is needed.

- Experience working in Device Management software (JAMF, Intune, etc) and script automation.
- Working Zendesk and Jira as ticketing systems.
- Experience supporting software development organizations.
- Working with cross functional teams on process topics.

Compensation:
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $75,000 - $90,000
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and Maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills, qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary you may be eligible for a corporate bonus which can range up to 20%.
Where is the job located?
This is a hybrid role and will require multiple days a week presence in the office. Our office is centrally located right off of Embarcadero Bart station in San Francisco, CA. Easily accessible by all forms of public transportation.
