IT SOX Controls Testing Analyst

🔍We are looking for an IT SOX Controls Testing Analyst.
🌍Location: El Salvador

Role is responsible for:

• Performing process walkthroughs and document narratives and flowcharts of key controls over financial reporting, along with the identification of risks.

• Performing testing of key controls over financial reporting.

• Assisting the SOX Senior Manager with the oversight and performance evaluation of internal and external resources.

• Preparing /updating detailed test plans for financial controls in compliance with testing SOX requirements.

• Partnering with external auditors, for reliance on internal audit work for SOX compliance.

Professional and Academic requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems, Finance, Business Administration or related.

• 2 years of previous audit experience (internal/external) is required.

Technical skills:

• Basic knowledge of Internal Control over Financial Statement (ICFR)/SOX implementation and management / PCAOB Standards and interpretations.

• Basic proficiency of COSO framework and experience applying the framework in a manner that supports SOX compliance and operational efficiency.

• Basic proficiency of COBIT framework and experience applying the framework in a manner that supports SOX compliance and operational efficiency.

• Basic knowledge of Audit Standards.
