Job Description

We are currently looking for an SAP Technical Architect to join our growing IT Finance Team! As SAP Technical Architect, you will support the IT SAP Application Manager focusing on SAP solution capabilities and will play an integral role in defining and assessing our organization’s SAP technical architecture practice. You will establish SAP best practices for SAP and non-SAP technologies/systems (SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, Field Glass, Cloud based reporting systems, Consolidation tools, EDI platforms and Interfaces to banking and other third-party systems).

As IT SAP Technical Architect, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Define SAP development best practice, for RICEFW, conduct training for internal and external developers and functional team, to promote standard, code scan, and other action to ensure development in good quality and code release with efficiency, continue driving the operation excellence
• Conduct architectural design for SAP integration with 3rd party application
• Provide technical solution for ongoing support issue
• Conduct design review according to best practice for internal and external developers/architects’ proposed solution
• Conduct code review according to best practice for internal and external developers’ code, identify risk and propose solution to fix
• Propose technical solution according to business requirement and technical excellence
• Collaborate with functional leads from Finance, Materials, Supply Chain, order to billing, billing to invoice, tax and HR etc.
• Drive collaboration with middleware, engineering, and other IT teams for E2E technical solutions
• Built integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, including P2P and BI Reporting
• Gather non-functional requirements, undertake project planning
• Solution design, configuration and customization of SAP systems
• Suggest and implement process improvements, supporting new SAP technical POC, patch upgrade and SAP Notes implementation
• Conduct knowledge and insight training to internal and external developers and architects, continuously improve team’s efficiency and operation excellence

Qualifications

WHAT IT TAKES TO CATCH OUR EYE:

• 10+ years of relevant SAP consulting or industry experience
• 10+ years of SAP R/3 ABAP experience, with full cycle implementation and upgrade experience.
• 3+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA
• Must have played technical lead role in multiple SAP implementation programs.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented programming is required
• Proficient in different integration techniques using OData services, Webservices and REST based API’s
• Proficiency and expertise in programming using ABAP objects in developing interactive reports, dialog transactions, enhancements and interfaces as required by business
• Hands on experience in technical coding in SAP S/4HANA (ABAP, UI5, etc.) for custom RICEFW developments
• Knowledge of integration of SAP S/4HANA with Ariba, Fieldglass & Concur
• Extensive knowledge and experience with SAP development tools and technologies such as ABAP Work Bench, User-exits, Interfaces, enhancements, IDOC, BAPI's, BADI's, Sapscript, Smartforms, CMOD/SMOD, Function Modules, RFC, ALE, Class, and Methods, Workflow, Eclipse IDE for ABAP, CDS view, AMDP
• Experience of SAP BTP

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Certifications in SAP ABAP on HANA or SAP HANA Associate
• Certifications in SAP Fiori
