THE ROLE & YOUR MISSION
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Global IT Quality Assurance Team, in Cluj-Napoca. This position would be responsible to develop and execute exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.
Quality Assurance is responsible for upholding Marsh & McLennan’s quality standards by ensuring that process and product output meet regulatory and internal control requirements, tracking quality metrics, recommending improvements and guiding the business on quality control issues. A Quality Assurance Specialist is an established, independent individual contributor, whose work has a direct impact on the team's outcomes.
YOUR EXPERIENCE & VALUES
- Able to provide solutions to day-to-day challenges, focused on how to improve both existing and new processes.
- Develop and maintain automated test cases with different tools and technologies (Selenium, WebdDiverIO, and Cypress).
- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Estimate testing activities in a given sprint/release
- Identify, record, document, and track bugs in Jira or ADO
- Understand and perform thorough regression testing
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, system analysts, and product managers)
- Monitor debugging process results
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Work closely with internal clients to improve processes as well as document changes that are implemented.
- Maintain a focus on meeting the standards of the organization through an understanding of Professional Standards and any internal quality measures that are implemented.
What you need to have:
- Proficiency in both automated and manual testing.
- Ability to create and maintain various styles of automation frameworks (Selenium & WebdDiverIO specifically as a plus).
- Experience with agile software delivery.
- Proven experience maintaining and contributing to existing automation scripts.
- Experience with agile delivery.
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Responsible, and proactive.
- Ability to multi-task and liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to build professional relationships
- Excellent Problem-solving skills with an innovative and proactive approach
- Adaptability to change
