Your role & work environment
Your function is IT Integrator within Core Bank & Advisory. This means you take on the implementation of new innovations (from the Tech angle) and improvements for our clients of various products such as Mortgages, Business Lending, Lease, with a focus on features and migration over chains of IT systems. Additionally, you take care of several Business Manager responsibilities (30-40%) for the Tech Management team.
The IT Integrator is a key person in the cooperation between IT and Business stakeholders. You drive to make complex changes happen within and across teams and domains. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial. You define and align the roadmaps between teams and thoroughly manage dependencies.
You will be part of a team of IT Integrators and will be working for different product families.
Taking on business management activities (30-40%) with the management team and IT Lead of Core Bank & Advisory, you will be a trusted advisor, a strategic project manager, and a key player in the evolution of the domain.
Your key responsibilities are
- Drive a range of projects within Core Bank & Advisory, focused on e.g.bank accounts, custom interest conditions, savings, loans, collections.
- You can turn strategic ambitions into actionable roadmaps by translating epics/innovations into features across teams and squads. In addition, you enable squads to refine their features into concrete user stories. You manage the size and complexity of features from an end-to-end view. During execution you ensure reporting and follow-up.
- You assure effective project execution, throughout all phases; you identify and manage risks and potential issues, you assure an effective test approach and a data migration plan is in place, whenever relevant.
- Together with relevant stakeholders (Architects, Business Owners, Product Leads, Infra, etc), you manage the priority of features with a strong focus on quality. You assign the features (and underlying user stories) to the relevant squads and lead the accurate feature definition and estimation. You clarify the definition of done together with the Product Lead(s).
- Set up a clear governance and reporting structure to steer the progress of many different stakeholders and teams.
- For the business management activities (30-40%) you act as trusted advisor and sounding board to the Management Team of Core Bank & Advisory, you prepare and/or lead a wide variety of management meetings, including townhalls, offsites, and perform analysis across the teams to gain and provide key insights.

You recognize yourself in
- Good understanding of (and ideally experience in) Tech in a financial institution
- A strong delivery drive. You are the one making sure things get done.
- A master’s degree, or equivalent by experience, focused on Engineering
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and prioritize appropriately
- Mature stakeholder management to contribute to management discussions and engage with senior stakeholders as a peer.
