About the Role
Abnormal Security is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join the IT team. As a fast-growing cybersecurity company, with a focus on innovation and excellence, we are building a team of experts to develop and implement advanced IT solutions.
The IT Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple, concurrent projects through scoping, analysis/design, implementation, and closing. These projects will vary in size and scope which will require flexibility of project management processes and solutions.

What you will do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Finance, HR, and various other business functions to ensure seamless delivery of projects to support the entirety of the Abnormal business
- Define, implement, and track KPIs that gauge the effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction of project execution while continually identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed
- Translate complex technical requirements into project plans with clearly defined milestones, owners, and deadlines
- Drive and manage project schedules by determining dependencies across project teams, proactively addressing risks, and reporting progress to stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of project deliverables
- Participate in organizational roadmap development and resource planning with department leaders
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive alignment and progress toward shared goals
- Design, establish, and iterate on best practices and repeatable processes for operational excellence for managing a portfolio of projects
Must Haves
- 4-6 years of professional experience in technical project management delivering cutting-edge technical solutions, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of leading successful IT projects
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide a team towards achieving technical excellence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated experience using project management software (ServiceNow, Microsoft Project, Jira) for a medium or large enterprise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- Capable of translating and communicating highly technical requirements in a way that focuses on customer or business impact
- Experience in collaborating with and meeting the needs of customers and teammates at a global corporation
- Experience working in a remote first company
Nice to Have
- Experience working with SaaS products and/or Software Engineering teams
- PMP or SAFe Certification
- Direct experience managing projects in ServiceNow PPM/SPM

Base salary range:
$114,800—$135,000 USD
