IT PROJECT MANAGER
Location: Mexico City (Hybrid)

As an IT PROJECT MANAGER supporting the Information Systems and Information Assurance (ISIA) Team, you will be trusted to manage infrastructure and integration projects in Mexico City. You will represent outstanding service as a liaison between internal Alcon customers, associates, and partners.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Project Ownership: Overseeing project risks, changes, issues, and documentation.
• Day-to-Day Management: Ensuring projects are completed on time, aligning with organizational goals and departmental policies.
• Project Planning: Creating and managing project plans, including milestones and tasks.
• Reporting: Providing project status and budget updates to ISIA PMO management and project sponsors.
• Customer Service: Managing customer satisfaction, service, and contractual commitments while aligning project teams and external resources.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 5+ years as a project manager with at least 3 years leading complex implementation projects and supporting integration and infrastructure projects.
• Certifications: Current PMP certification preferred.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), MS Teams, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and project management tools.
• Methodologies: Knowledge of agile and waterfall methodologies, understanding of project financials, and PMI project phases.
• Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills in English.
• Leadership: Strong leadership capabilities and proven customer service skills.
