1. Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules for the phased MFA rollout. Coordinate with technical teams to ensure the setup of Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access policies. Plan for different user groups such as ground staff, cabin crew, pilots, and vendors, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations. Manage timelines and resources to ensure that each phase, as outlined in the project timeline, is completed on time.
2. Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication between business units, IT teams, and external vendors. Engage with various user groups to understand specific requirements, including token-based authentication for MacBook users and contact center agents. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project status, risks, and dependencies.
3. Risk and Issue Management:
Identify potential risks, issues, and dependencies early in the project. Work closely with teams to mitigate risks and resolve any issues that may arise during implementation. Continuously monitor project performance to ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
4. Change Management:
Coordinate change management activities, including user communication, training, and support. Ensure that all users are well-informed about the transition to MFA, particularly regarding the use of mobile authenticator apps, tokens, and biometric login. Develop contingency plans for identified risks.
5. Compliance and Security Oversight: Ensure all activities adhere to corporate security policies and standards. Coordinate with the Information Security Team to address any compliance requirements specific to MFA implementation.
6. Vendor and Third-Party Coordination: Oversee engagement with vendors responsible for MFA token solutions for MacBook users and other necessary hardware/software services. Manage service level agreements (SLAs) with vendors to ensure they meet their commitments. This includes conducting a tender process to source the most competitive solutions to support MFA implementation
7. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of project progress, decisions, and deliverables. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on the status of the MFA rollout, user adoption metrics, and any blockers
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
Experience:
• Proven experience managing large-scale IT implementation projects, preferably in security or identity management.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), Conditional Access, and MFA technologies
• Experience working with diverse user groups, including remote workers, ground staff, and executives.
• Experience in vendor management and working with external partners.
Skills and Competencies:
• Strong project management skills, with a focus on timelines, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with technical teams and non-technical business users.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and balance competing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with tools such as Miscrosoft Project, Jira, collaboration and reporting tools.
