IT Network Engineer - Network Product Manager

SUMMARY

We are currently looking for an IT Network Engineer - Network Product Manager to join the international Network team. 

You will be the key enabler in the overall Network deployment and strategy for Airbus Defence and Space, developing the future architectures and defining their long-term strategy

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Proves value of new technologies to establish business case.

• Manage Changes in ITIL and work along other Infrastructure teams

• Updates the company guidelines and policies regarding the use of a specific technology or methodology.

• Drives the update of the learning framework based on the known technology.

• Advises on specific topics related to the technology and/or methodology.

• Monitors technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment.

• Guides and supports the selection of the appropriate technologies and/or methodologies.

• Monitors technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to business units supported to enhance the enterprise’s competitive edge.

• Able to make recommendations for buy versus build decisions.

Requirement

• Educated to an Engineering Master or Bachelor degree preferably in IT or Telecommunications or related field

• At least 5 years of experience in complex Network infrastructures

• Deep understanding of WAN (BGP, OSPF and routing protocols, QoS, Routers communities, VRFs...)

• Experience in Cisco devices (routing and switching) and/or Network and security management platforms.

• Experience in security services - Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Stormshield, Cisco) and Proxy (Broadcom, McAfee)

• Network certifications will be a plus

• Encryption experience will be a plus (Encryption protocols: https, IPSEC... / Crypto boxes: Compumatica, Genua, Cisco manufacturers)

• Multidisciplinary profile willing to take multiple challenges

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Project management and leadership of dedicated smaller projects and work packages
