Hurry up! We’ve got a dream to build!

BlueConic is an international, high-growth SaaS company in the martech space. Built and supported by teams across the United States and around the globe, our industry-first customer data operating system empowers marketing and growth doers with an unmatched range of capabilities to access relevant customer data, create resonant customer experiences, and drive maximum returns for their business.

BlueConic has grown rapidly over the last few years—now exceeding 200+ team members, collectively known as the BlueCrew—and the IT environment has grown just as rapidly along with us. Our internal IT team is responsible for the delivery of internal IT services for this BlueCrew and is executing a series of projects to further standardize and professionalize the internal IT service delivery, while also performing day-to-day operational IT tasks.

Currently, the team is led by a part-time contractor IT Manager, and we are seeking to bring this critical role in house to further strengthen this team. Are you the kind of IT Manager who enjoys growing and mentoring a team, while still being able to execute hands-on IT work for yourself? Do you have the experience of driving organization-wide projects that yield increased efficiency and productivity? Then we’ve got a job for you.

In this role you will:

  • Monitor daily IT operations including server hardware, software, operating systems, and 3rd party services.
  • Serve as the IT stakeholder in the selection and purchasing of new 3rd party services by other departments.
  • Manage and participate in IT projects. Current projects include the migration from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace, a server hardware renewal project, and the migration to a new Identity Management solution.
  • Procure computers and equipment for new hires, and provision applications as needed for new hires and existing employees.
  • Own IT onboarding and offboarding for all US employees, working with our People Operations team to identify processes that can be automated and/or streamlined.
  • Provide end-user support for internal employees, thoroughly answering IT questions and solving IT issues.
  • Evaluate technology risks and develop a disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
  • Implement and manage security measures to prevent data leaks and breaches including monitoring user, systems, and network activities for suspicious activities.
  • Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance globally.
  • Ensure all computers and in-office equipment are in good working order, including employee equipment, servers, and conference room equipment, purchasing any replacements as needed.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and modify information processes and systems so that they operate effectively.
  • Ensure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of policies, applicable laws, codes, and regulations.

You have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support and infrastructure.
  • Experience managing IT operations for growing companies.
  • Experience within a globally distributed team and managing IT operations across geographies.
  • Experience supporting a range of computer hardware and software, including having managed a variety of SaaS licenses.
  • Experience with IT security, including monitoring activity and implementing security measures.
  • Strong communication skills, and comfort partnering with C-level executives.
  • Certifications in IT management, such as ITIL, are a plus.

If hired, applicants based in the US can expect an annual base salary and target bonus within the following ranges, depending on experience. BlueConic also offers a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees including a selection of medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, 401(k) matching, 28 vacation days annually, paid parenting leave, and more.
