The IT Manager of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP Application is responsible for overseeing the implementation, optimization, and day-to-day management of Gowan’s JD Edwards ERP system. This role ensures that the ERP system supports the business’s operational and strategic objectives, with a focus on efficiency, scalability, and data integrity. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, excels at problem solving, can see the big picture looking for standardization, high degree of autonomy, experience managing ERP projects in different countries with corresponding localizations, and the ability to collaborate with various business units to address their specific needs. This position is based in Yuma, Arizona.

Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the management and configuration of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Oversee ERP system upgrades, enhancements, and patches, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
- Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and other departments to understand their requirements and develop solutions within JD Edwards.
- Troubleshoot system issues, manage escalations, and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop and deliver training to users on JD Edwards modules and updates.
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the ERP system.
- Manage and mentor the ERP support team (internal and external) providing coaching and support to help them achieve their goals and deliver high-quality results, setting performance goals and evaluating progress.
- Coordinate, maintain and organize active projects and resources assigned to them with delivery dates to track progress and status.
- Conduct EnterpriseOne meetings to have all team members provide status of projects.
- Coordinate with third-party consultants for specialized support and system optimization.
- Analyze and assess system performance, implementing improvements for enhanced efficiency.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies to ensure the ERP system remains cutting-edge.
- Forecast resource demand and align contractor resources to meet demand, managing utilization and minimizing downtime against plan.
- Use forecast demand to estimate and prepare annual fiscal year budget.
- Mentor and coach EnterpriseOne team members.
Education:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in IT or Business.
- Additional: JD Edwards EnterpriseOne certification is a plus.
Experience/Skills/Abilities:
- 7+ years of experience managing and implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ERP from kick-off to Go-Live.
- 10+ years of experience managing resource allocation and ERP related budgets.
- Strong understanding of ERP modules, including Finance, Distribution, and Manufacturing.
- Leadership and project management experience in ERP environments.
- Significant experience of managing a portfolio of projects or a complex program, with the ability to manage a changing portfolio with internal and external contractors.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Spanish also preferred).
- Ability to manage vendor relationships and work cross-functionally.
- Experience of leading, managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams to meet or exceed delivery targets and achieve internal client satisfaction.
- Significant experience in people and team management with the ability to influence others and create an environment to maximize the team’s potential.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent technical knowledge and deep understanding of JD Edwards files and relationships as background to provide advice on data integrity issues.
- Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project or other project planning tools.
- Required: Experience with application support for JD Edwards or another tier 1 ERP systems.
- Ability to work in a team environment while achieving personal goals.
- Multitasking skills to deal with multiple groups, projects and topics.
- Proficiency in creating detailed documentation and reports for senior management and other stakeholders.
