We are looking for a detail-oriented IT Intern – Quality Assurance and Automated Testing to join our team. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates passionate about software testing, automation, and improving application quality. You will work closely with our QA engineers and developers to assist in testing software applications, developing test automation scripts, and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:
· Assist in the development and execution of test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
· Perform manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and software applications.
· Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
· Write and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Tosca, Selenium, or Playwright.
· Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and verify bug fixes.
· Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, providing feedback on product functionality and usability.
· Conduct regression testing and ensure application stability after updates.
· Learn and apply industry best practices in software quality assurance and test automation.
Required Qualifications:
· Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
· Familiarity with automation testing tools like Tosca is a plus.
· Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript is an advantage.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Attention to detail and ability to document and communicate test results effectively.
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment
Remote acceptable but expect to be in CT home office 1-2 days per month
