As an IT Inhouse Consultant MDM/MDG, you will be at the core of our SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) initiatives, focusing on technical design, implementation, and optimization. Your expertise will drive the integration of MDM solutions into our IT landscape, ensuring the seamless management of master data and supporting critical business functions.
This is a hands-on technical role, offering the chance to directly shape and enhance our data governance frameworks and system efficiency.
Main Responsibilities & Tasks:

SAP MDG configuration for Material & Business Partner

Design and configure MDG data models, workflows, and business rules to meet organizational requirements

Develop and customize MDG UIs, validations, derivations, and BRF+ rules
-
Analyze and resolve technical issues in the MDG environment

Support periodic SAP system upgrades and MDG feature releases
-
Structured collection and analysis of complex requirements and the resulting independent identification of necessary procedural/functional/technical changes in own and related areas of activity

Close cooperation with IT business partners and solution architects

Support of national and international projects

Testing, documentation and 2nd level support

Documentation of work activities in accordance with applicable policies and preparation of the corresponding data in dashboards, reports, diagrams and flow charts for the further development of policies and data-driven decision-making
Qualification & Skills:

Academic degree in Business Informatics or similar

Minimum 5 years of work experience as an IT Consultant in the area of Master Data Management, SAP Master Data Governance & SAP S4 Hana

Proficiency in SAP MDG modules and configurations for Materials, Customers, Vendors

Good understanding of business process, business requirements

Fluent in English

Good knowledge of programming languages and interface technology

Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking

Strong methodological skills

Drive and capability to work in an international Team
