IT Financial Applications Developer (Hybrid)

This position is based in the Firm's global operations center in Brandon, FL (Tampa Bay area).

General Description:

We are seeking an IT Financial Applications Developer to join our team. The IT Financial Applications Developer will be responsible for supporting the development, and maintenance of the Firm's custom applications within the financial systems. This role involves assisting with workflow development to enhance operational efficiency and ensure the reliability and performance of financial applications. This position is currently a hybrid role with designated days required to be in the office, which may change depending on future needs of the Firm or industry standards.

Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in the development, maintenance, and support of financial applications, ensuring their ongoing reliability, integrity, functionality, and performance.
• Support the design and implementation of workflows to automate and optimize financial processes, particularly in business intake and risk areas.
• Help integrate new business intake and conflicts back into the financial system to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.
• Document technical and business requirements in support of requests and process improvement activities.
• Collaborate with various departments, including Finance, IT, Business Intake, Privacy & Compliance, Legal and Risk, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of financial systems.
• Research, evaluate, implement, support, and maintain in-house developed and off-the-shelf financial systems software products.
• Support project teams and serve as a technical resource in developing creative solutions to complex financial systems applications issues and problems.
• Special projects and duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of financial systems and applications.
• Familiarity with workflow development and process automation.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications & Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, finance, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial applications development and support.
• Experience with workflow development and process automation tools.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
