What we're looking for:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Engineer to play a key role in enhancing IT support operations. This role reports to the Manager, IT Operations and serves as a vital bridge between front-line support and advanced IT operations. The IT Engineer manages IT ticket queues, conducts root cause analyses, and collaborates with Senior IT Engineers and System Administrators to optimize system configurations.
The IT Engineer will also lead structured onboarding sessions, manage workstation vulnerabilities, troubleshoot SaaS connections, and contribute to compliance initiatives. This role is pivotal in supporting IT projects and driving service efficiency by implementing process improvements. Candidates with experience in emerging technologies such as Mobile Device Management (MDM) or Vulnerability Remediation Tools are highly valued.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, effective problem-solving, and the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with non-technical stakeholders. Success in this role requires an eye for detail, excellent prioritization skills, and a commitment to building scalable processes that avoid silos. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of IT challenges in a fast-paced, remote-first environment while contributing to organizational efficiency and growth.
This role is based out of Los Angeles, CA and will support our office in El Segundo, CA. Candidates must be located in the greater Los Angeles area upon their start date.

- Technical Expertise: Proven ability to troubleshoot and administer SaaS tools like Google Workspace, Kandji, InTune, Jira, Automox, Slack, Zoom, and Okta, including SSO configurations.
- Root Cause Analysis: Ability to analyze and resolve complex IT issues, partnering with Senior Engineers or System Administrators to enhance system configurations.
- Compliance and Security: Skilled in identifying and resolving workstation security vulnerabilities using patch management and vulnerability remediation platforms.
- Documentation and Process Improvement: Strong documentation skills to build a robust knowledge base and drive process efficiencies.
- Communication and Collaboration: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Organization and Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to managing multiple requests, balancing independent work, and thriving in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

- 3+ years of experience in IT support, with 2+ years in a SaaS-first company.
- You have prior experience working in a remote-first environment and startup culture.

How you will create impact:
- Serve as an escalation point for IT support issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining user satisfaction.
- Manage the IT ticket queue, prioritizing and categorizing requests for efficient handling.
- Troubleshoot and administer SaaS tools, including Google Workspace, Kandji, InTune, Jira, Automox, Slack, Zoom, Okta, and SSO configurations.
- Identify and resolve workstation vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance by contributing key insights into regular compliance activities that are aligned with our security standards.
- Partner with the Senior IT Engineer and System Administrator to identify systemic issues and recommend system enhancements.
- Lead structured onboarding sessions to provide a seamless experience for new employees.
- Maintain IT policies and documentation, contributing to a self-service knowledge base for the organization.
- Support IT and Security projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring deadlines are met.
- Contribute to key IT metrics, such as improving ticket resolution times and reducing security vulnerabilities, and participate in long-term strategic planning for IT scalability.
Target base compensation amount for this role outlined below. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts shown below.
$80,000—$88,000 USD
