What we need 

We are looking for a  Deployment Coordinator who will coordinate efforts to complete ITIS tasks under the direction of IT PM team and management to include assisting in Change Request (CR) completion (participating/coordinating calls), JIRA ticket resolution, assisting  in generating customer tickets (e.g. INC) and tracking with customer Project team. In this role you will review the teams SharePoint folder for data/quality control, and follow up on site blockers to insure timely resolution in accordance with scheduling timelines.   

 

What we do 

The IT PM organization oversees the timely and accurate implementation of the IT/Infrastructure and integration of software into the customer site installation environment, while communicating and reporting to all stakeholders until project completion. 

 

What you’ll do 

  • Participate/moderate/help manage Change Request (CR) calls via Teams involving ITIS personnel following prescribed checklists. 

  • Participate/moderate/help manage JIRA calls via Teams involving ITIS personnel following prescribed checklists and scripts (power downs, pre-prod tasks). 

  • Escalates CR issues in real-time (e.g. resource not on-site, no technical support, missing/defective equipment, etc.) according to a prescribed chain of command. 

  • Provides post-CR status (completed, in-progress, failed, rescheduled, etc.) to key stakeholders. 

  • Assist in researching key milestones for IT PMs regarding scheduling and site status as needed. 

  • Bullet points any outstanding blockers or escalated issues requiring management intervention. 

  • Identifies SharePoint folder data deficiencies for ITIS team members to correct/update. 

  • Participates in IT PM meetings & ITIS team calls regularly. 

  • Updates/closes JIRA tickets to assist ITIS team.  

  • Co-ordinates & ensures JIRA tickets/CRs are aligned with/by Change Management team leads. 

  • Assists in tracking (the non-technical administration) of required onsite equipment to include tracking fire alarms, BOT accountants, wireless APs/bridge, etc. for (re-)scheduling onsite/remote support resources, aligning equipment arrivals, client approvals. 

  • Assists in the remediation, backfilling of lost or missing equipment.  

 

What you’ll need   

  • Associates, bachelor’s or advanced degree suggested, but not required. 

  • Military service or equivalent work experience beneficial. 

  • Strong organizational skills. 

  • People management skills / team player / likes to lead not follow. 

  • Ability to multi-task between sites, scheduling, resources, and logistics. 

  • Has a basic understanding of technology, and willing to learn Symbotic nuances. 

  • Capable of assimilating/applying relevant learned computer work skills. 

  • Communicates effectively with all - ITIS teammates, other technical leads and vendors. 

  • Fast learner who can corral groups and lead/manage them through multi disciplined scripted tasks. 

  • Basic skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint. 

 

 Our Environment 

  • Up to 20% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.  

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
