Howden is experiencing incredible growth, and we are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our IT Governance team as an IT Change Analyst. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to work across a wide variety of disciplines working under the guidance of experienced professionals, developing valuable experience in IT Service Management.

Please note this is a full-time, permanent role based in our Central London office. You are required to be onsite 3 days per week on average.

 

Role Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the IT change processes and procedures to review proposed changes and minimise downtime of critical business systems and infrastructure.

  • Mature the change management process demonstrating continual service improvement: (1) Research audit related changes to process compliance and work to implement and communicate those change, and (2) Work across the organisation to communicate the relevant roles in the change and release process to all relevant parties.

  • Chair CAB and ECAB meetings as and when required. Ensure changes are documented and implemented according to change management process and policy.

  • The role will prepare process documentation, prepare evidence of process compliance and answer questions posed by auditors regarding the change management process.

  • Provide the relevant management information relating to all changes and releases, including detailed trend analysis to show performance.

  • Hold regular change performance reviews with global business units to discuss areas of success and areas of concerns.

  • Work with the incident and problem manager to recover services as quickly as possible in the event of a failed, service impacting change.

  • Enhance existing KPI metrics for measuring overall and individual success rates, and provide reports based on output.

  • Ensure only clearly defined and sanctioned change is released to production environments, demonstrating adherence to process and appropriate documentation and approval to satisfy business and audit requirements.

  • Create detailed SMART objectives, ensuring that the appropriate measures are in place and that this aligns with the organisation’s vision.

 

Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience in IT Change Management, particularly in applying and adapting various Change governance frameworks to align with organizational culture. Strong ability to coach and mentor individuals as part of organizational development.

  • Experience working in blended, multi-disciplinary, and multi-vendor teams.

  • Familiarity with financial management, control, and stewardship of IT assets and resources used in delivering IT services.

  • Knowledge of deployment and testing methodologies, along with experience in multiple project management approaches, including Waterfall and Agile.

  • Experience with ITSM platforms like ServiceNow is a plus.
