Reporting to the Director of Application Development, you will play a key role in driving strategic business decisions across all functional areas of our organization. Acting as a trusted partner and liaison between IT and business users, you will help identify opportunities, implement solutions, and align people, processes, and technology to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with key business units (Transport, Operation, Logistic, and Finance) to identify areas for improvement in end-to-end processes.
  • Partner with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and prioritize business requirements while considering technical feasibility, timelines, and business impact.
  • Evaluate and assess system releases, upgrades, and configuration options to ensure seamless integration and alignment with key business functions.
  • Analyze and map current business processes, workflows, and roadmaps to deliver clear, actionable recommendations for optimizing the future state.
  • Act as a key resource for resolving system issues, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing technology-driven solutions to enhance business operations.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration, working with IT, project managers, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and delivery of business solutions
  • Deliver comprehensive training and guidance to team members during onboarding and whenever new tools or features are introduced
  • Play a central role in user acceptance testing, ensuring the end product meets business needs and delivers value.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent field of study.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a related field.
  • Proven experience in a project implementation (required).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (strong asset).
  • Experience with tools such as SQL, Guide TI, Ortec (strong asset).
  • Proven expertise in analysis and troubleshooting, with a strong track record of implementing effective solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication, teamwork, and cross-functional partnership skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver, driven to deliver results and foster continuous improvement.
  • Business Analyst certification (Asset)
  • Fluency in both English and French (required)
