Job Overview
- Determines the functional impact on IT-domains, as primary objective, based on functional and non-functional business, architecture and IT-requirements. Feature design in close cooperation with key stakeholders, splitting epics into features, determining the mutual interdependencies resulting in a functional roadmap. Supports decision-making by presenting clear design alternatives and substantiating them.
- This role is for Retail Tech department, Germany Area – Business Banking domain
- On a day-to-day basis, the IT Business Analyst will be interacting with Product Lead, Architects, Engineering Lead, Chapter Lead, engineering team and key stakeholders.
- This role will be reporting to the Chapter Lead
Key Responsibilities
- Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be" - Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
- Operational Compliance - Maintain and renew a deep knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, and ensure own work adheres to required standards. OR identify, within the team, patterns of non-compliance with the organization's policies and procedures, and with relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, taking appropriate action to report and resolve these and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Recommendations - Advise others on how to design new processes and systems that meet professional standards.
- Requirements Management - Plan and coordinate the identification, elicitation of requirements, conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment, document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable. Generally done at the project level.
- Roadmap Refinement - Collaborate with Architects, POs and Squads to translate Epics into Features and Stories.
- Solutions Analysis - Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best solutions. Solutions could be technical or professional in nature.
- Stakeholder Management - Develop stakeholder engagement through identifying stakeholders, finding out their needs/issues/concerns and reacting to these to support the communication of business information and decisions.
- Verifying - Provide guidance to developers and build patterns by creating Cookbooks. Escalate deviations if necessary.
