About the Role
As an IT Audit Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in designing and implementing internal audit strategies aligned with top-tier professional standards. You’ll manage comprehensive audits from inception to completion, ensuring robust control mechanisms that protect and propel organizational objectives. You’ll be instrumental in shaping a new, in-house internal audit function within a fast-growing global company. Collaborating closely with the Head of Internal Audit, you’ll design and implement audit strategies to ensure the organization’s compliance and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement an internal audit methodology aligned with IIA Standards.
- Contribute to the development of the annual internal audit plan.
- Manage the delivery of audits, ensuring quality and timeliness from planning through reporting.
- Review audit work to ensure comprehensive testing and supported conclusions.
- Draft high-quality audit reports highlighting issues and SMART actions.
- Track agreed actions and escalate overdue items.
- Assist in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
- Manage and develop a small matrixed team.
- Build and maintain a robust stakeholder network within the organization.
- Foster a collaborative work environment focusing on learning and innovation.
- Promote risk awareness and effective control management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IT audit best practices and regulations.
- Perform ad hoc projects as required.

Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of relevant management experience.
- Professional qualification in IT Audit (CISA) or IT Security (CISM, CISSP).
- Expertise in professional internal audit practices and IT general controls.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical-non-technical bridging.
- Proven record in direct line management, team leadership, and development.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure controls (security, disaster recovery, etc.).
- Familiarity with AI tools and frameworks is desirable.
- Strong english skills (B2-C1)
