Provides third level IT support to end users. Maintains all technical aspects of the information systems. Documents, mentors, and trains other IT staff to perform operational duties of information systems.

License /Certification Required:Cisco CCNA VMWare VCP within 6 months of hire/transfer. Preferred:N/A Education Required:N/A Preferred:N/A Testing N/A Experience Required:Six years network administration experience; or Two years network administration experience with an Associate’s degree in an Information Technology related field. Preferred:N/A Knowledge/Skills/Abilities N/A Department Specific Requirements N/A Essential Plans and implements architectural improvements to the current enterprise network infrastructure. Oversees all technical operations of network related services. Completes all network projects within the specified time frame. Reviews all service requests related to network. Troubleshoots and maintains Cisco CallManager, Cisco Unity, switches, bridges, Cisco Voice Gateway, Cisco Wirelesss Controllers, Cisco phones, firewalls, proxy servers, VPN connectivity, internet connectivity, remote connectivity, supported software. Determines problems within four hours 99% of the time. Remains current and install updates and patches on all equipment. Available 7x24 for support issues that need to be escalated beyond the analyst on duty (except when on PTO). Calls the vendor/ partner to report all broken equipment or software and help resolve any problems. Writes network and wiring/server and virtualization/documentation. Creates documentation and in-service staff on all new projects. Manages internal and external resources, personnel time schedules for agreed-upon projects and coordinate/testing of network equipment/software upgrades before putting into production. Coordinates rollout of all new and upgraded hardware. Develops, evaluates and implements network and related applications for standardization. Responsible for diagnostic, preventive maintenance and backup procedures for the enterprise. Works with vendors and liaisons to develop future systems for proper system integration. Develops, implements and monitors network/performance. Sets standards and implement tool to facilitate network monitoring. Works with ISS Technical Support Team and demonstrate team leadership skills. Self improvement and ongoing education. Recommends network/server related training to Management to provide high-quality support for users and network. Orders phone and network/server and backup recovery related supplies. Performs on-call ISS technical support services to provide the hospital with 24 x 7 technical support. Ability to work non-standard and extended hours during project implementations. Coordinates, organizes, schedules and implements workspace moves, adds, or changes. Assesses power and network needs. Coordinates installation of network/power cabling. Inspects work to meet wiring standards document. Coordinates with IT Support Technicians to facilitate wire pulls, phone installations, access point installations and any other type of network or phone related task. Addendum (essential for specific dept) Additional Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and services appropriate to the population served on the assigned unit or work area. Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$35.29 -$52.94
