We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ProductXpress Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a ProductXpress Consultant, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring products within the ProductXpress application, as well as providing expert guidance on its functionalities and business processes. You will collaborate with various business units to understand their workflow challenges and provide tailored solutions using ProductXpress. The ability to decode complex insurance product formulas and analyse data flows, data models, system integration, and APIs is essential for this role. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning quickly and adapting to fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
Job functions and responsibilities:
- Utilize hands-on knowledge of ProductXpress to set up and configure products in the application.
- Collaborate with business units to understand workflow challenges and provide effective business solutions using ProductXpress.
- Decode complex insurance product formulas available in calculation sheets.
- Analyze data flows, data models, system integration, and APIs related to ProductXpress.
- Ensure successful implementation and integration of ProductXpress within the organization.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and enhance efficiency through the usage of ProductXpress.
- Provide training and support to users on ProductXpress functionalities and best practices.
- Support and perform ProductXpress application upgrades.
- Ensure the delivery of tested, accurate and precise ProductXpress solutions supporting new and modified insurance product calculations.
- Work towards continuous improvement exploring new ways to increase efficiencies and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Relevant work experience in industry in a similar role in software engineering.
- Prior experience working with ProductXpress is essential.
- Proven success in the role of a ProductXpress Consultant, with a record of consistently meeting or exceeding desired business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to set up products in the ProductXpress application.
- Strong understanding of data flows, data models, system integration, and APIs.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to working with multiple and changing priorities.
- Previous experience working within an Agile environment, implying familiarity with Agile principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication with the ability to interact effectively with business units.
- Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and executing work, as well as identifying issues and providing timely solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
