To support our accelerating revenue growth and ambitious product roadmap, we are seeking an iOS developer to join our team. Main responsibilities
- Implement new features for our iOS app
- Take ownership of specific feature implementations and produce structured, easy to read and efficient code
- Write unit tests, and functional tests and verify your code against defined test cases
- Writing specifications for software for medical device
- Participate in code review and ensure timely delivery of high-quality code
- Discuss possible implementations with other team members and create and maintain the overall design and architecture of our app
- Estimate development efforts and do sprint planning together with the team
- Keep track of your work and make sure to follow Aktiia's development process
- Plan releases together with the team and support the release of our app on the App Store
Required competences / education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of working experience as an iOS developer
- Functional and automation testing, writing specifications and documentation
- Knowledge of distributed version control systems, like Git
- Good knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
- Knowledge and understanding of architectural patterns like Viper, MVVM, TCA
- Experience with Bluetooth communication and camera integration is a big plus
- Understanding software development lifecycles in a regulated industry with experience in medical device software development is a big plus
- Willingness to work flexibly, in an interdisciplinary and international environment, depending on the current project status
- Strong analytical skills and process-oriented work style with a structured, independent approach to work and focus on getting things done
- Stress-resistant, even in fast-paced and busy situations
- Fluency in English (French and other European languages are a plus)
