Job Description
We're on the lookout for an Invoice Processing Assistant to become a key player in our accounts payable team.
What you’ll be doing:
Your role will be crucial in ensuring our day-to-day operations run smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for coding and entering invoices, handling supplier queries, and investigating any invoice issues that pop up.
You'll also be the friendly nudge that key contacts need to approve invoices promptly. Managing aged credit items and debits on the ledger will be part of your routine, along with handling any unassigned or rejected invoices with ease.
Your understanding of coding structures will come in handy ensuring we're delivering consistent quality in our financial transactions. You'll stay on top of our key performance indicators and make sure we're hitting those standards.
Qualifications
What you’ll need to succeed:
You'll need to bring your top-notch customer service skills to the table, along with some experience in working with internal customers and external suppliers.
You're adept at juggling tasks and deadlines while maintaining high-quality work. A proactive mindset is key, especially when it comes to resolving supplier problems and queries before they escalate.
Ideally, you’ll have experience within invoice processing, managing aged credit items and debits on the ledger. You'll need excellent communication skills, strong organisational abilities, and a keen eye for detail. Being a team player is essential, as is being comfortable with Word, Excel, and other systems we rely on daily.
