ABOUT THE JOB
The Performance Reporting Operations Analyst manages the calculations for performance returns for trust accounts on the Global Plus custody system.  Performance Returns are calculated on the First Rate system by an external vendor.  Analysts perform processing and monitoring on First Rate.  Analysts research cash and unit outages between Global Plus and First Rate and research Global Plus transaction impacts on performance returns.  Analysts receive inquiries and requests from portfolio managers and work with First Rate to resolve inquiries and fill requests. 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performance Measurement

  • Clear rates of return exceptions for Institutional, Personal Trust & Wealth Management accounts.
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers regarding research requests on client account performance.
  • Research and resolve complex rate of return exceptions.
  • Provide performance data to Line of Business Partners.
  • Research and correct trust security transactions in the performance system.
  • Add or modify performance accounts on performance system.
  • Partner with other trust operations areas to ensure proper transaction flow and resolve root cause issues.
  • Liaison with vendor to resolve issues with returns.
  • Report system issues and aid in the resolution with Key Technology Services.
  • Participate in the testing of new system installation, future release upgrades and validation of system patches.
  • Document and maintain procedures.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as requested.
  • Support regulatory reporting functions as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferred Accounting, Finance or Economics) or equivalent work experience
  • Theoretical understanding of securities and how their processing impacts performance
  • Strong accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Effective time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong organization skills and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment or independently
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Embrace Continuous Improvement workplace culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Securities operations experience
  • Knowledge of Global Plus Custody System

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $55,000 to $60,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
