Join our Investment Middle Office Services ( IMOS) team to lead client operations and drive strategic initiatives in a dynamic environment.
As an Investment Middle Office Services Client Operations Vice President in Investment Middle Office Services Client Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in managing key client relationships and ensuring the seamless delivery of post-trade services. You will work closely with our trade processing and Interbank Offered Rate (IBOR) operational teams to meet client SLAs, enhance resiliency, and drive process improvements. This role offers exposure to a wide range of financial products, including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives, providing a unique opportunity to grow your expertise.
In this role, you will lead a team responsible for managing client interactions, including query management and escalations. You will collaborate with technology, service, product, and operations teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet client needs. Your ability to influence and build strong relationships across the organization will be key to your success.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages key client relationships and acts as the senior escalation point.
- Drives the evolution of the IMOS global strategy and oversee daily operational activities.
- Manages proactively client relationships, leading initiatives to improve service levels.
- Manages risk and control within the team, ensuring compliance with firm wide standards.
- Oversees team management, including work allocation, capacity management, and talent development.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to manage service delivery and identify client solutions.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Leadership experience in Operations with experience in change management.
- Product knowledge in Equities, Fixed Income, Repo, Cash Markets, FX, or Derivatives.
- Strong client-facing skills and communication style, with experience managing clients.
- Proven ability to lead teams across multiple locations and work to deadlines.
- Experience in Investment Operations, including Trades, Cash, and Reconciliations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address operational and technical issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet tight deadlines, and exceed client expectations.
- Self-starter with a quick learning ability.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in Middle Office.
- Experience in IBOR Management and Reconciliation.
- Familiarity with Over-the-Counter Derivatives ( OTC) & Exchange-Traded Derivatives ( ETD) Derivatives, Contracts for Difference ( CFD), and Market Claims Investigations.
