Overview
The Inventory and Sales Operations Manager will focus on the daily monitoring and management of supply chain, from manufacturing to consumer for direct to consumer and retail business, specifically focused on Velocio, while optimizing inventory levels and on-time delivery. They will cultivate close working relationships with suppliers and internal customers and foster a continuous improvement approach to fulfilling the best riding apparel for riders, while leaning into the strengths of our business via SRAM.
Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the high-level mechanics of Velocio's supply chain between manufacturing and fulfilment to riders and partners
  • Accountable for a strategic understanding and the continued management of Velocio inventory
  • Manage ERP System for purchasing inventory flows and product data
  • Maintain product master including categorizations, composition, HTS coding etc.
  • Collaborate with sales, product and marketing in the creation of product go-live plans
  • Monitor product pricing based on manufacturing costs, duty and freight
  • Manage and execute purchasing for new and existing product
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and develop processes for timely re-order of core product
  • Forecast demand based on historical data, market trends and sales projection.
  • Determine purchase quantities based on demand and accounting for material and production MOQs
  • Prepare inventory reporting for management
  • Inform sales and marketing of sell-through and highlight overstock/slow-moving styles
  • Key player in DTC brand integration to SRAM sales and operations planning and purchasing processes including ERP migration


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in supply chain management, business administration or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or planning (specifically related to the apparel, cycling, or outdoor industries)
  • Experience with inventory management system(s) and forecasting
  • Proficient in an ERP system, MS-Office and Google Suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze data quickly and make recommendations based on findings
  • Highly collaborative team player and able to work independently, as needed
