QphoX is looking for an intern to join us in developing and building our quantum frequency converters. To achieve our mission, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates with scientific skills and resourcefulness.
Joining a dynamic team with a rich diversity of backgrounds and nationalities, you'll be at the forefront of developing the next generation of our technology and elevating its performance to new heights. With access to cutting-edge methodologies and state-of-the-art tools, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology.
You will be involved in:
- Numerical simulations of photonic integrated circuit devices
- Data analysis of optics experiments
- Solving technical and engineering challenges
- Analyzing, summarizing and sharing your results
Skills and knowledge you will bring to QphoX:
- Pursuing an MSc in Applied Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Quantum Information Science & Technology
- Previous experience with Python programming.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, scientists and technicians with a wide range of expertise
- An organized and rigorous working style
- Eager to learn new concepts and techniques
We prefer students who are available for an internship of a minimum of 3 months.
