Job Description:

This nine-week program will expose interns to the day-to-day activities of the Global Client Group’s Operations Team. The GCG Operations Intern will support initiatives that are critical to the firm’s strategic sales efforts. The internship will provide exposure to a variety of teams and their projects. The daily work will involve leveraging internal and third-party data to draw actionable insights in an efficient way, supporting functions around data governance, sales operations, and reporting as well as CRM integration of these efforts. The role falls within the GCG Sales Operations division, which supports the day-to-day operational needs of the sales group in the areas of business insights, product management, intermediary relationships, client onboarding, reporting and administrative services.

Responsibilities:

• Effectively complete day-to-day responsibilities and tasks largely based on direction and support received from others.
• Provide quality control for client reports, requests, and support day-to-day activities.
• Database maintenance and compilation of business statistics.
• Investigate and address client inquiries with support/oversight from senior staff by evaluating client-specific circumstances and collaborating across departments to formulate responses; communicates their findings to senior staff.
• Collect and analyze data to support various sales goals and campaigns.
• Proactively communicate needs, challenges, and capacity.
• Develop a robust understanding of Dimensional’s investment philosophy and process.
• Basic understanding of underlying systems used to generate standard reporting.
• Seek opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications:

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or another quantitative field with an expected graduation date of December 2025 - June 2026.
• Demonstrated history in academic achievement.
• Coursework in mathematics, statistics, information systems, computer science, or finance/accounting is preferred.
• Demonstrated interest in helping sales teams make process-driven, data-informed decisions.
• Documented analytical and quantitative skills.
• Ability to gather requirements amid ambiguity.
• Interpersonal communication, verbal, and written skills.
• Work equally well in a team environment and independently.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Team oriented – ability to apply analytical and decision-making skills in a collaborative environment.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and general computer skills with the ability to learn additional computer applications as needed.
• Self-starter with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
