QphoX is looking for an intern to join us in developing and building our quantum modem. To achieve our mission, we are looking for enthusiastic candidates with scientific skills and resourcefulness.
Joining a dynamic team with a rich diversity of backgrounds and nationalities, you'll be at the forefront of developing the next generation of our technology and elevating its performance to new heights. With access to cutting-edge methodologies and state-of-the-art tools, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our technology.
You will be involved in:
- Understanding and defining bottlenecks in specific processes
- Collating and setting requirements
- Brainstorming potential solutions
- Rapid prototyping to demonstrate key concepts
- Collecting feedback to inform design changes
- Communicating with manufacturers and other teams
Skills and knowledge you will bring to QphoX:
- Previous experience with CAD software e.g Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, etc
- Previous experience with 3D printing
- Basic electrical engineering knowledge is a plus but not required
- Ability to work collaboratively with other engineers, scientists and technicians with a wide range of expertise
- Good organizational and planning skills to achieve set goals on time
- Quick to learn new techniques for different tools
We prefer students who are available for an internship of a minimum of 3 months.
