Department OverviewThe International Marketing team is responsible for developing and executing all marketing programs and tactics across all regions outside of North America. A core focus of the department is to drive customer advocacy, account engagement, demand generation and sales enablement. The team oversees all regional marketing strategies, development programs and campaigns including field marketing support, account-based marketing, content generation, thought leadership initiatives, enablement, customer experiences, events, & marketing ROI metrics.
Job Description

This role is primarily remote with occasional travel to our UK offices.

We are recruiting for an experienced marketer who can be an individual contributor and support the growth strategy of the International business through compelling and engaging content that communicates our value propositions, drives awareness and creates demand for our safety and security ecosystem.

We are looking for an experienced marketer who is an excellent communicator and passionate about creating engaging content to support the growth strategy of our International business. The ideal candidate must be collaborative, creative, and able to develop compelling content to increase awareness of our products and solutions and ultimately drive incremental pipeline growth. The successful candidate will have experience working with cross-functional matrix teams to drive sales enablement and account-based demand generation strategies. A customer-centric perspective, a solid grasp of product marketing and solution sales principles, a thorough understanding of mission-critical and public safety technology, and the ability to thrive in a highly cross-functional, dynamic environment are essential for success in this position. This is a full-time position based in the UK.

As International Customer Insights Marketing you will:

  • Enable the selling of both complex solutions and cross-sell product combinations by developing value propositions and optimised messaging for specific audiences.
  • Leverage customer insights to develop and orchestrate targeted marketing strategies across direct and channel go-to-market functions in partnership with Sales, Digital Campaigns and Field Marketing, to achieve business goals.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer and prospect requirements and represent the voice of the customer/prospect within the organisation.
  • Provide effective sales and marketing tools that enable the sales teams to successfully win new business.
  • Support cross-functional teams with subject matter expertise and marketing acumen; develop creative and diverse customer-facing and sales-facing collateral, including solution presentations for both commercial and technical audiences, customer case studies, ROI models, infographics, videos, white papers, and web content.
  • Develop, implement and maintain detailed multi-quarter marketing roadmaps for critical launches and campaigns for the International sales region.
  • Provide the vertical marketing strategy in partnership with the Sales Strategy, Digital & Field Marketing teams and Global Product Marketing team to achieve business goals. (e.g. set goals, define value prop, establish vertical narrative)
  • Be a dynamic creator of materials used by our business. Must demonstrate strong curiosity in and understanding of public safety and enterprise security markets, and an ability to translate this interest into thought-provoking materials, such as white papers, infographics, articles, social media posts, etc, to drive interest through education.
  • Manage stakeholders, forging strong working relationships across global marketing, PR and International sales leadership.
  • Understand Motorola Solutions’ government and enterprise markets and their evolving needs for safety and security technologies.
  • Partner with Sales Strategy and regional stakeholders to drive solution sales enablement activities.


Basic Requirements

  • Industry experience within B2B sales and/or marketing experience with 1+ years of experience in product marketing (preferably within critical communications with a channel or enterprise safety environment)
  • Proven track record designing, executing, and measuring integrated marketing campaigns and outbound programs in partnership with sales in a high-growth environment.
  • Experience in evolving marketing programs based on performance data, ground-level feedback from sales and understanding of the business. 
  • Experience in content creation and marketing experience in the technology industry (preferably in B2B).
  • Broad technology awareness with a passion and specific knowledge of digital communications, networking technologies and software-as-a-service.
  • Excellent storytelling skills with the ability to understand complex technical concepts, customer benefits, and operational value.
  • Strong attention to detail, strong project management and time management skills.
  • An established track record of developing impactful marketing content from conception through to execution. 
  • Experienced in copywriting and editing whilst adhering to brand and tone of voice guidelines.
  • Experience in product marketing in a B2B environment is preferred. Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. /B.A.) required; relevant fields of study include Marketing, International Studies and Business.
