Internal Sales Employee

We are looking for a driven sales employee who is accurate, communicative, and engaged. In this role, you will play an important part in supporting the daily processes within our team. You will ensure that everything runs smoothly, from administrative tasks to coordinating internal processes.

What will you do?

As an internal sales employee, you will have the opportunity to make a crucial contribution to the success of De Jong Verpakking by Stora Enso. You will be the first point of contact for our customers and an important link within the organization. You will be responsible for the administrative processing of orders.

You will manage incoming phone calls and ensure that questions and requests are directed to the right colleagues. Additionally, you will process sales orders in our system and coordinate delivery times with internal departments such as production and transport planning.

You will be responsible for processing and managing administrative data, always keeping an eye on detail and accuracy. You will maintain contact with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that communication is always clear and professional. You will work independently and take responsibility for your tasks but also know when to take action to ensure the process runs smoothly. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to improving internal processes and assist the team with various projects.

Your contribution is crucial for smooth order processing and customer satisfaction. You will work closely with colleagues in the sales department and support them with various administrative tasks. Our customers are primarily in the AGF (fruits and vegetables) and industrial sectors, making every day different.

Your main tasks:

• Receiving and processing sales orders in our automated system;
• Coordinating deliveries and aligning them with internal departments such as production and transport;
• Maintaining customer contact and ensuring smooth communication;
• Providing administrative support to the field sales team and sales department;
• Preparing cost calculations and sending quotes, while learning how to manage the pricing structure and profitability.

What are we looking for?

• MBO/HBO level of work and thinking;
• Experience in a similar role is a plus;
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel);
• You are accurate, communicative, and commercially oriented.
