Internal Control Specialist

IFF is a global leader in food, beverage, health, biosciences and sensorial experiences. We are now seeking a highly motivated and results driven individual to join our Finance –AR Internal Controls function as Specialist.
Your Focus
As Specialist based out of our Finance Shared Service Center in Hyderabad, India, you will be responsible for effective and efficient performance of the Reporting team at Hyderabad ISSC. You will also be responsible for distributing accurate and timely reporting, metrics and internal control reports as needed for the function globally. You will communicate within the team and to the stakeholders outside/inside of the ISSC.
The role reports to and receive functional guidance from the AR & Credit Operations Manager, ISSC.

How you will contribute

• Establishes reporting requirements and expectations with stakeholders, working with them to identify any issues or concerns and develop solutions to address them.
• Defines metrics and KPIs to be tracked and reported on a regular basis.
• Ensures accuracy and completeness of the data used for reporting.
• Develops and distributes reports to stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls framework and regulatory requirements.
• Investigates and reports any internal control breaches or issues.
• Reconciles accounts and transactions on a regular basis, establishing and maintaining a reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Provides accurate and timely reports on reconciliation results to stakeholders, developing solutions to resolve any reconciliation issue.
• Identifies opportunities and recommends improvements, focusing on efficiency, productivity & quality.

What you will need to be successful

• B. Com or any finance graduates with minimum of 4-6 years’ experience in AR, credit, finance and/or accounting.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Tools – MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is a must.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs and requirements.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and have a strong understanding of business process and systems.
• Proficiency in SAP is a must.
• Good understanding of basic accountancy.
• Strong customer focus skills.
• Strong understanding and focus on internal controls requirements.
• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written.
• Solid understanding of the systems used in the various sub-processes.

•     Lean / Six Sigma Certification is considered a plus.
