As an Internal Consultant II, you will be part of a collaborative and dynamic team that supports the overall enterprise strategy at Premera.  

We are seeking a qualified person to: 

  • Support the strategy management team with thoughtful project management, coordination, and material development.   
  • Engage with senior leadership through the planning and facilitation of leadership and board meetings.  
  • Be curious, developing thought partnership skills as you build a broad understanding of the business while providing organizational support for a high-performing team.  
  • Proactively solve problems and keep the work of the strategy management team running smoothly.  

What you will do: 

Strategic Execution  

  • Support Premera’s execution of our corporate strategic plan by collaborating with strategy management teammates to drive strategic governance and reporting 
  • Develop and execute project plans as needed to roll out new models and/or processes  
  • Manage tracking, organization, and storage of all strategic execution documents via SharePoint  
  • Supports strategic thought leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving 
  • Support the development of resources, templates, and process flows for Strategic initiatives (e.g. team charters, RACIs, process maps, communication templates)   

  

Leadership Meetings 

  • Support agenda setting, material creation, meeting facilitation, note-taking, follow-up communication, and action tracking for leadership meetings 
  • Review and refresh meeting charters, facilitate periodic lessons-learned sessions; solicit and analyze survey data to understand if meetings are providing value and meeting expectations   
  • Develop and publish an annual calendar of leadership meetings and create workback calendars to support meeting preparation  
  • Support materials preparation, communications, and work back calendars related to the board of directors 

  

Reporting  

  • Support the development, maintenance, and publication of Smartsheet reporting dashboards for strategic execution  
  • Analyze dashboard reporting to understand audience engagement and assess value provided to stakeholders  

  

What you will bring: (Required)

  • Bachelor’s degree or four years of work experience 
  • Five years of experience doing analytical or consultative work with the business 
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and experience with creating effective workback plans 
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and an ability to proactively identify solutions  
  • An ability to work well under pressure and interface effectively with senior leadership  
  • Experience working with SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams 

  

Additional preferred skills/experience include: 

  • Experience working with Smartsheet, Copilot, and Forms 
  • Full cycle program/ project management experience.

The pay for this role will vary based on a range of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographic location, market conditions, and specific skills and experience.

The salary range for this role is posted below; we generally target up to and around the midpoint of the range.

National Plus Salary Range:

$78,000.00 - $115,100.00

*National Plus salary range is used in higher cost of labor markets including Western Washington and Alaska.
