Job Description:
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Work with the head of employee communications to understand employee preferences to develop impactful communications that resonate with employees across internal app, email, web, and digital signage outlets
- Act as subject matter expert on employee communications best practices to foster employee engagement company-wide by collaborating with local reporters across the company to achieve impact metrics
- Collaborate with HR teams in various locations to ensure all locations are represented within employee news channels
- Creatively engage with HR thought leaders to craft communications that empower all employees to fully leverage offerings such as learning and development opportunities, overall wellness benefits, as well as retirement and bonus options available to them
- Master platform tools to distribute timely messaging and strategically leverage new features and tools
- Test and implement new content topics and content types to enhance our existing internal communications strategy based on employee desires, communications trends, and content analytics
- Craft communications pieces in response to shifting employee needs and happenings in a manner that lets team members have a mix of want-to-know and need-to-know content while adhering to publishing deadlines
- Assist with Employee Town Halls, celebrations, and charitable giving events to drive employee engagement and reinforce company values
- Review and edit communications pieces for accuracy and relevance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR, PR, communications, advertising, or marketing
- Well-versed in content production to include writing, videography, and photography for impactful storytelling and messaging
- Strong relationship-building skills to aid in story interviews and cross-functional collaborations
- 3 - 6 years of professional experience in communications preferred
- Comfortable leveraging digital communication platforms for information dissemination
- Trustworthy – can handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
