Our Internal Communications team works as an invaluable business partner across brands, geographies, and corporate functions to provide guidance, shape communications objectives, and develop and execute meaningful communications plans. Our Director of Internal Communications will be critical in supporting the global strategy and plans for enterprise communications, as well our Human Resources, Finance, Administrative/Legal, Technology, and Strategy business units.

Equally, they must be able to get into the details, operate at a tactical level and be able to drive the execution of initiatives. What Part Will You Play?
- Write, edit and manage the production of a wide range of internal communications focused on business strategy and team member engagement on behalf of senior business leaders
- Act as a communications advisor, developing and executing communication campaigns and programs, which may require ongoing strategic planning, writing content and providing regular communication support
- Support a consistent cadence of communication by executive leaders to team members through a variety of channels: Town Halls, webinars, videos, written materials, and digital/interactive communications
- Ensure that communications align with and support the company's key business objectives, strategic priorities, mission, values, and brand and connect, inform and inspire action for team members at every level
- Work to capture the authentic voice of leadership in written communications
- Deliver accurate, clear, and consistent communications to team members globally using a range of platforms
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of company events
- Monitor incoming communication requests, craft appropriate responses, distribute messages to support teams and offer guidance as needed
- Partner with the external communications team to ensure alignment as well as support internal awareness of external communications initiatives
- Support in the delivery of sensitive messages during times of change or crisis
- Find innovative ways to leverage existing communication channels and messages
- Stay current on leading trends to deliver practical and insightful communication recommendations and thought leadership
- Operate with a business-focused mindset and help team members understand how their role impacts our business goals and objectives
- Seek opportunities to reinforce our culture of innovation and performance in everything that we do
Preferred Qualifications:
- This role is based in metro Atlanta as a hybrid position with in-office and remote flexibility
- 10+ years' experience in corporate and internal communications with a focus on executive communications, employee engagement
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, or related field
- Experience with global B2B, technology or financial companies
- Proactive and creative approach to communicating strategy and engaging audiences
- Experience working on multimedia stories, including partnering with videographers and editors to tell engaging stories on video
- A move-with-urgency mindset and ability to manage complex projects, multiple stakeholders and competing priorities; adaptable to change
- Highly organized work style with a rigorous attention to detail and strong analytical ability
- Strategic thinker with the ability to drive programs from inception to completion
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
