The Role:
Our site in Chaska, MN is seeking an Internal Audit Intern to join our team for the Summer 2025 season. This assignment is intended to be 12-14 weeks in duration.
The Internal Audit Intern will support the organization’s financial and operational related audit programs under the guidance of Internal Audit management. This includes documenting and assessing the effectiveness of control design as well as testing the operating effectiveness of the controls in accordance with defined test attributes.
What You’ll Do:
• Participates in audits and/or special reviews of the Company’s processes and controls in accordance with the risk-based audit plan.
• Obtains and analyzes supporting evidence as a basis for providing an audit opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Facilitates the requests of external auditors and collection of supporting evidence.
• Prepares work papers to ensure consistency between test objectives, evidence obtained and test results.
• Creates and maintains documentation to support the audit team such as policies and procedures, control information, process flows, risk and control matrices, etc.
What We Seek:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business or audit

Ability to be detail oriented and document clear
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
• Experience working in/internship opportunities in accounting, finance or audit

Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in mid-May or June through mid-August or September

Compensation: $19-30 hourly range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
