Apply now for the position of UX Designer Intern, and you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in one of the world’s leading healthcare companies. This 12-month internship placement will provide you with hands-on experience in user research, UI prototyping, and dashboard design, allowing you to develop solutions that enhance the experience of field engineers. You will work with industry-standard tools like Figma and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize dashboards that support our mission of improving cancer care.
Your role:

Research and Analysis – You’ll gather insights from field engineers through interviews or surveys, analyze Splunk dashboard usage, and identify pain points and opportunities for improvement.

Design and Prototyping – You’ll create UI prototypes in Figma using the corporate component library, ensuring intuitive, user-friendly designs based on field engineer feedback.

Iteration and Feedback – You’ll refine designs by incorporating stakeholder input, making necessary adjustments to align with business needs and user expectations.

Documentation and Presentation – You’ll document design decisions and revisions, then present your final designs and insights to the development team and key stakeholders.
About you:

You are currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Proficient in Figma (Prototyping, Auto Layout, Components, Variants etc), have a basic understanding of UI/UX design principle and best practices. Experience in conducting user research, basic knowledge of React and Typescript.

You can troubleshoot and solve problems creatively and efficiently.

Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
