Purpose Statement: Supplier Quality area support
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Assists the Supplier Quality Engineering team with data retrieving, gathering and taking evidences of Supplier Quality issues, screening out raw material to prevent line down and other supplier quality activities.
- Participates in conducting basic quality testing and inspections of purchased parts, ensuring compliance with technical requirements and specifications.
Disposition and coordination of purge screening activities with supplier/ 3rd party. - Supports on preparation and update of Supplier quality metrics and other supplier quality documentation.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School degree is required; an Associate Degree is preferred.
Other Qualifications:
- The intern should be detail-oriented and have strong analytical skills to identify problems and determine solutions. Proficiency in software programs such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis software may be required for data analysis and reporting purposes.
Physical Requirements:
- Role will support operational teams in a manufacturing environment with required personal protective equipment. Facilities include comfortable temperatures, repetitive low noise level and suitable lighting for required tasks. May require walking, standing and sitting, using a computer, and other office equipment. Direct interaction with people and equipment is event driven and will include activities related to inspecting, qualifying, troubleshooting and improving jigs, fixtures, and manufacturing methods using different types of components or material. Role may require working individually on tasks with a prolonged focus on written material, working collectively as part of a team of various disciplines and backgrounds and working in multiple software systems.

- Less than 40%
