Overview: We are looking for a motivated IT Automation Intern to join our team. This role will focus on supporting the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions to improve IT and Business processes, enhance system reliability, and drive operational efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about scripting, automation tools, and modern IT practices to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Work On:

Assist in the design and development of scripts and automation workflows to streamline IT operations (e.g., user onboarding, server provisioning, software deployment).
-
Support the development and maintenance of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
-
Automate repetitive IT tasks using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
-
Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to identify automation opportunities and develop effective solutions.
-
Document existing manual processes and propose automation improvements.
-
Help monitor and maintain existing automation processes to ensure reliability and performance.

Learn and apply best practices in security, compliance, and operational excellence.

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving automation-related issues.
Required Qualifications:
-
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Basic understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud services, etc.).
-
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or similar.
-
Enthusiasm for automation, DevOps, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Good communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform, or Puppet
-
Familiarity with Business Process Automation and RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, UI Path etc
-
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Basic knowledge of Git version control.
-
Experience working with APIs or RESTful services.
