The Opportunity

Kargo is seeking a Global Experiences Intern! The Global Experiences department is responsible for the planning and execution of experiential initiatives and events to drive company growth and brand recognition. Initiatives include corporate events, marquee sponsorships at industry conferences and trade shows and regional customer engagement through networking and educational activities to support the sales force on both a national and global scale.
This role will have the opportunity to learn organizational skills and the specifics of event creation and management (including venue selection, activations, swag design, event decor, inventory, and reporting on global experiences and events. 

The Daily To-Do

This role will work closely with the Global Experiences Manager in NYC and will assist with monitoring project timelines and budgets. 

  • Assist with onsite events and venue site visits 
  • Assist with the project management of customer engagement programs including event details such as venue, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, and promotional material
  • Manage RSVP lists 
  • Assist with creative requests  
  • inventory management and shipping swag to other offices and clients. 

Qualifications

  • This year, we’ll be prioritizing candidates who are rising undergraduate seniors or who are pursuing postgraduate studies. All interns are required to be eligible to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship.
  • Interest in event planning
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Go-getter and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates flexibility/resourcefulness - find imaginative and practical solutions and make well-considered decisions.
  • Excellent computer skills (G-Suite, Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
