Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Intern, Continuous Improvement role will make an impact:

Key responsibilities for this role include:

• Assist with site continuous improvement initiatives.

• Assist with the creation of project resources and tools.

• Assist with identifying waste reduction opportunities using continuous improvement methodologies (value stream mapping, 5S, kanban, etc.).

• Assist with root cause analysis using continuous improvement methodologies (Ishikawa diagram, FMEA, 5 whys, etc.).

• Participate in project review meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• The successful candidate will have preferably completed a minimum of their sophomore year and be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in a Engineering, Business or Finance (i.e., or a related field of study). A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred; however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.

• Strong interest in process improvement and project management.

• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.

• Must possess knowledge of MS Office; specifically, MS Excel & PowerPoint.

• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong attention to detail, strong organization and analytical skills, ability to set and work to deadlines.

The salary range for this position is: If pursuing Bachelors degree = $20/hour; if pursuing Masters degree = $25/hour; if pursuing Doctorate degree = $30/hour.
