JOB SUMMARY:
The KraftMaid Brand Marketing Intern will be responsible for evaluating the user experience on KraftMaid.com specifically on the Browse (doors and finishes) pages, Storage Accessories, and Hardware pages. The goal is to provide recommendations, supported by research, that optimize the consumer experience and ultimately drive more KraftMaid purchases. The intern will review current UX trends, GA4 data, and competitor/best-in-class examples to inform their recommendation. The end result will be a thorough plan for each designated page that has been vetted by our digital team that can be implemented at a later date.
This opportunity will not only enhance an intern's understanding of brand marketing but also equip them with valuable skills that can be applied in future roles within the marketing field.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Evaluate the Kraftmaid.com user experience
· Provide recommendations, supported by research, that optimize the consumer experience and ultimately drive additional KraftMaid purchases
· Review current UX trends, GA4 data, and competitor/best-in-class examples to inform recommendations
· Develop a thorough plan for each designated page that has been vetted by digital team for future implementation
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Actively pursuing a degree in marketing with an interest in digital marketing. Preferably has some baseline knowledge of UI/UX and/or email marketing.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 Suite (specifically Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel).
·Baseline knowledge of Google Suite, Google Analytics/GA4, and social media platforms.
·Interested in the digital consumer experience with some baseline knowledge of the various digital media platforms.
· Able to work in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and ability to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
· Understanding of basic business and marketing concepts.
· Familiarity with social media and email marketing.
· Problem solver and creative thinker – willing to take risks.
· Proven time management and prioritization skills.
· Strong writing and copy editing skills
